Devlog #18 | Week 7

Jenny here for this week's devlog. I myself haven't been too productive this week. Or at least I feel like I haven't been too productive. I mostly worked on trying to figure out how perspective works, (with varying degrees of success) and redid a very rough sketch of a background. We're planning on having one of the character interactions to be all online, so I created a very simple design concept on what a potential chat program could look like. With some pretty obvious inspirations. (Discord, MIRC, Messenger, etc.)

I also realized last week's devlog didn't include a picture of a design I was working on, so I might as well show it off now (Oh heck, I noticed the outline is a bit wonky by the ears oh well.)

Other than that I got slightly sick on Wednesday, but was feeling fine again on Thursday.

Felix has been the main man on writing these last couple of weeks, and currently in the process of writing the first interaction with the doggo above. He did end up hitting some walls, so whenever he couldn't think of anything to write he usually worked on figuring out some new music to play in the background. (Felix has also been horribad with forgetting to post on social media so I'll have to whip him into shape or something idk.)

Last but certainly not least, the man, the myth, the legend; Sondre. He's kicked some serious ass this week, he finally figured out how to autoplay audio in twine, after having struggled with it for some time. He added in the dialogue/story into twine, he color coordinated the text, and did some visual novel studying. And is currently working on trying to format the text of the first "act" to better fit the aesthetic of online chatting.

And unless I'm forgetting something, that was this week in a nutshell. Thank y'all for reading.
