Devlog #14 | Week 49


Yo, it's Sondre, this week has been slow, and we've had struggles, so we'll be honest, Although it has been some issues they are resolved. We've also had our very first playtest Friday last week, and today we went to Oslo and had some university students test our game, it was Awesome!

I've been working on the detection system, and fixed some of the stuff we got as feedback from the other students at our school. Me and Jenny also merged our branches together, just to realize we worked in the same scene, for example the first merge, the entire hierarchy deleted everything in it, and on the second merge the player controller script decided it was a good time to duplicate and get fucked somehow. But I'm happy to announce that all these issues have been resolved, and we learned from our mistakes.
(NOTE: Do NOT work in the same scene, it's a pain when merging)

Jenny has been struggling with art block this week so have mostly just tried to get out of her art rut. She realized bunnies have fucked anatomy, she tried and failed at continuing working on the comfort zone main menu background. And cried a lot.

Felix have been mostly working on different sound effects. He's had another creativity block so he didn't manage to get much done but He's been mostly working on the Comfort Zone expansion sound and also a sound for when you collect the final item you need in order to expand it.
